Malaku (8475m) the world's 5th highest peak's base camp trek is a Utterly marvelous, still very untouched and an irregular trekking area of Makalu region is very close to the Everest region. And The Barun valley is a part of a huge international protected area under the agreement between the governments of Nepal and China, which comprises of 2330 sq. km of National Park and 830 sq. km of conservation area in Nepal alone.Trekking in the Makalu region takes you through the beautiful Makalu Barun National Park, from the steamy lowlands of Tumlingtar [460m], one of the least frequented areas of Nepal to the snowy heights of Makalu Base Camp [5000m] which is least visited by tourists like Nepal's far west. With the views of the south face of Makalu, as well as Everest and Lhotse are truly regal and fantastic.
Day 01: Kathmandu arrival,transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sight around Kathmandu valley,Pree-trip meeting.
Day 03: Flight: Kathmandu - Tumlingtar (860 m),Trek to Khadbari.Tented Camp
Day 04: Khadbari to Chichila (1,830 m). Camp
Day 05: Chichila to Num (1,490 m). Camp
Day 06: Trek to Sedua (1,460 m). Camp
Day 07: Trek to Tashi Gaon (2,070 m). Camp
Day 08: Tashi Gaun to Kauma (3,470 m). Camp
Day 09: Rest / Exploration day at Kauma.
Day 10: Kauma to Mumbuk (3,570 m). Camp
Day 11: Trek to Nhe Kharka (3,000 m). Camp
Day 12: Nhe Kharka to Sherson (4,615 m). Camp
Day 13: Trek to Makalu Base Camp (5,000 m). Camp
Day 14: Explore Makalu Base Camp.
Day 15: Makalu Base Camp to Nhe Kharka (3,000 m). Camp
Day 16: Nhe kharka to Mumbuk (3,570 m). Camp
Day 17: Trek to Kauma (3,470m). Camp
Day 18: Kauma to Tashi Gaon (2,070 m). Camp
Day 19: Tashi Gaun to Pukuwa (1,520 m). Camp
Day 20: Pukuwa to Bumling (1,160 m). Camp
Day 21: Trek Bumling to Tumlingtar (860 m). Camp.
Day 22: Flight Tumlingtar-Kathmandu.
Day 23: Free day to explore, and enjoy Kathmandu.
Day 24: Transfer to airport for departure.
